Prima Still Life Painting Class

learn oil Alla Prima techniques for painting.
Alla Prima means paintings done in one session.
Noah will teach the use of plumb lines,
comparative measurement, and tilt angle to find
correct proportions. Noah will show how he mixes
colours and talk about how he thinks about
colour when painting. Working from your own
setup you will learn how to start your painting,
see and record shapes clearly and simply, and
model form by carefully observing the properties
of light.
You will work on a new painting each class. This class will take part alongside the cast drawing class at the academy. Lots of demos and individual
instruction!
All levels of experience welcome but some drawing experience recommended. Thursday afternoons 2-5pm Cost $231 Includes GST. 4 weeks, 4 classes. Your own dedicated work space. Materials not included Materials not included. Click for supply list To
