Oil Figure Painting Class

Wednesday evenings 6:30-9:30pm

Come learn classical techniques for painting the figure. In this 4 week course, Noah will show you classical techniques for painting a realistic figure painting. Noah will teach the use of plumb lines, comparative measurement, and tilt angle to find correct proportions. Noah will show how he mixes colours and how to think about colour in your painting. Working from a live model, you will learn how to start your painting, see and record shapes clearly and simply, and model form by carefully observing the properties of light.

You will work on one painting over the 4 classes.
